NOTE: If you are using a headset through your computer, this will break your softphone functionality.

Since most users do not have a headset, you will want to use your desk phone as your calling device. This set of instructions will show you how to set that up.

1. Within your RingCentral app, click on "Settings" in the lower left hand corner:

2. Next, click on "Phone". Scroll down in the next menu and find the "RingOut" function.

3. Toggle "RingOut" to on. This will bring up a menu to select the phone to RingOut to. You can then select your associated desk phone. Next, deselect the "Confirm Connection" option.

Now all calls made through the RingCentral app will ring your phone. When you pick up the phone, it will automatically connect you with the user/person you were trying to call.
