What's Happening to CDK?
CDK is getting a new, easier way to sign in. After the IT department migrates your account, you will begin using the new CDK Drive SimpleID icon on your desktop to access CDK. If you do not see the CDK Drive SimpleID icon on your desktop, please contact the IT department.
Your old CDK username and password will no longer work. They will be replaced with the same login credentials you use for Windows and your company email.
How Will I Log On?
After double-clicking on the new CDK Drive SimpleID icon (and giving it a few seconds to load) you will follow the same logon flow you use for any other Microsoft services on the web.
In most cases your username will follow the pattern "[email protected]"
If you have previously logged on in Microsoft Edge, your account might already be selectable.
Your password is the same one you use for logging in to Windows and email.
You will be prompted for a Two-factor authentication method. If you have not set it up already, you must do so now. You can use SMS texting or the Microsoft Authenticator app.
Once logged in you can click on the green icon to go straight to your normal CDK desktop view.
